Guillaume Beuscart leaves Intermarché Belgium

Now that the integration of Mestdagh stores into Intermarché Belgium is complete, Guillaume Beuscart has completed his task at the Musketeers. Secretary General Fabian Durieux takes over as Executive Director.

Mission accomplished

Beuscart had joined Intermarché Belgium in September 2022 to manage the acquisition and integration of Mestdagh’s former Carrefour stores into ‘regular’ Intermarché stores. That mission has now been accompliched: all stores have been transferred to independent operators and recently Mestdagh’s Gosselies plant was absorbed by ITM Belgium’s headquarters. The Société Les Mousquetaires therefore announces today his departure.

His replacement is Fabian Durieux, who will lead Intermarché Belgium as Executive Director in collaboration with the two presidents of the board of directors, Antoine Florival and Philippe Guilpain. Durieux has worked at the retailer since 2002 and held the position of CFO for several years before being appointed Secretary General in January 2023.
