The state did not issue the Finnish company with an exclusive permit for the historically large-scale transport transportation. However, a loophole in the law allowed the Finns to re-register their cars on paper – and they turned into Estonian ones! The giant Tootsi wind farm will be completed in the north of Pärnu County this year. Eesti Energia's green subsidiary, Enefit Green, has been planning this project for many years. It is expected that in the future the power plant will provide a tenth of the total electricity consumption in Estonia. 38 wind turbines are being installed on a former peat bog. They are huge: the length of the blades alone is 80 meters. Transporting them to the swamp is not an easy task.
