Over the past 12 months, food prices have risen by 3.7 percent. The biggest price increases during this time were for edible fats and oils, which rose by nine percent, canned goods by eight percent, seasonings and baked goods by 7.2 percent, eggs by 6.4 percent, poultry products by six percent, and strong alcohol by 5.8 percent.
