Changes in the structure of Russian exports
The commodity structure of Russian agricultural exports by 2030 may change due to an increase in export supplies of meat and dairy products, food industry products and other agri-food products.
In particular, Agroeksport predicts that vegetable oil exports from Russia may increase to 8.4 million tons by 2030, compared to 4.5 million tons in 2021.
Flour supplies may reach 1.7 million tonnes versus 0.3 million tonnes.
Sugar exports are also expected to rise to 1.2 million tonnes compared to 0.5 million tonnes, confectionery to 0.9 million tonnes compared to 0.8 million tonnes, meat and meat products to 1.5 million tonnes compared to 0.6 million tonnes, dairy products to 0.3 million tonnes compared to 0.2 million tonnes, respectively.
Grain export forecast for 2030
At the same time, the main share in agri-food exports will be grain. Its export in 2030 is forecast at 75.2 million tons compared to 42.9 million tons shipped in 2021.
