Wheat in the September delivery contract on MATIF fell by 1.6% yesterday. and cost EUR 226.75/t (PLN 980/t), and y/y the prices dropped by 5.0%. The price of corn on the Paris Stock Exchange in the August contract fell by 1.0%. and amounted to EUR 208.00/t (PLN 899/t), and over the last year it decreased by 12.5%.
Cereals also became cheaper on the Chicago Stock Exchange
Wheat on CBoT fell by 1.5% in the July contract. and cost USD 210.25/t. On a y/y basis, quotations decreased by 22.0%. The price of corn in the July delivery contract on the Chicago Stock Exchange fell by 2.3%. and amounted to USD 173.12/t, and over the last year it decreased by 34.5%.
