Grain prices drop on MATIF

Wheat in the September delivery contract at MATIF fell 2.1 percent yesterday and cost 206.25 euro/t (885 PLN/t), and year-on-year the price fell 13.2 percent. The price of corn on the Paris exchange in the November contract fell 1.4 percent and amounted to 198.75 euro/t (853 PLN/t), and over the past year it has fallen 11.9 percent.

Increase in grain prices on CBoT

Wheat on CBoT in the September contract rose by 1.1% and cost 196.48 USD/t. In year-on-year terms, the quotations fell by 10.7%. The price of corn in the September contract on the Chicago exchange rose by 0.9% and amounted to 149.99 USD/t, and over the past year it has fallen by 17.9%.
