Germany's Ifo index, which is compiled from a survey of 9,000 company executives, fell again, marking the third month in a row when it was expected to rise.
In the seventh month of this year, compared to June, the mentioned index adjusted from 88.6 to 87 values, and it was expected to increase to an average level of 88.9.
The current situation assessment indicator fell to 87.1 during the mentioned period, while it was predicted to increase from 88.3 to 88.5.
In the case of German business expectations, the drop was from 88.8 to 86.9 this month. It is predicted that this indicator will grow to an average level of eighty-nine.
"Companies were less satisfied with the current business situation. Skepticism about the coming months has grown significantly. The German economy is stuck in a crisis," said Clemens Fuest, head of the German Ifo Economic Institute.
