Electric car chargers at Aldi stations
The chargers at ALDI car parks have the status of public facilities, which means that all drivers can use them. Additionally, the chargers will also be used by ALDI employees who, as part of a fleet agreement, will charge their company cars on preferential terms.
By the end of this year, ALDI, in cooperation with GreenWay Polska, intends to equip the parking lots of its stores in 262 more locations throughout Poland with chargers.
– The introduction of electric vehicle charging stations is not only a response to current trends, but also our responsibility towards the environment. We want our customers and employees to have convenient access to charging their vehicles – says Paweł Owczarek, head of the technical and design team at ALDI Polska. GreenWay charging stations will be available from August 22 in 22 locations throughout Poland. Another 262 will appear by the end of 2024 – adds Owczarek.
The use of GreenWay chargers at ALDI stores will be possible after registration on the greenwaypolska.pl website, in the mobile application, or through a one-time charge via the website. Charges for charging are collected cashlessly – automatically from the payment card. A detailed price list is available on the operator's website.
