The new location underlines the strategic importance of Eastern Europe for TRILUX and reflects our long-standing commitment to the region. Our expansion through investments in Świdnik is a central pillar of our global growth strategy, and the plant itself perfectly complements our production plants in Germany and Spain. With this third factory in Europe, we are able to respond even faster and more flexibly to the needs and requirements of our customers. In addition, we are shortening routes and delivery times and strengthening our independence from external influences. This creates ideal conditions for further growth," explains Hubertus Volmert, CEO of TRILUX.
250 jobs at the Trilux factory
The choice of location for the new plant in Świdnik in the Lublin region is not accidental.
The region offers us excellent infrastructure and excellent access to qualified specialists – emphasizes Piotr Mokrzan, Managing Director of TRILUX Sp. z oo
In the initial phase, around 70 employees will work in the areas of production, administration and product development. In the coming months, employment, especially in production, assembly and logistics, is to increase to 250 people.
Modern production technologies
In its new plant, TRILUX relies on the latest production technologies, which guarantee the highest quality and efficiency. Thanks to its own metal and plastic processing, modern powder coating and flexible assembly stations, the lighting specialist can quickly and precisely implement individual customer requirements.
Ergonomics and Sustainability
Over 3,000 sq m of office space has been designed in the spirit of the “New Work” concept. This means that in addition to open space for work (i.e. the so-called “open space”), conference rooms and relaxation zones, there are also places for isolation that create good conditions for creative work or cooperation in smaller groups.
The building complex has been optimized for CO2 emissions. It meets the highest standards of sustainable development and has a BREEAM certificate. In addition to the photovoltaic installation, there will also be charging stations for electric cars on the premises.
New investments in Poland
According to the EY report "Investment Attractiveness of Europe", despite the general decline in the number of new foreign investments in Europe (a 4% drop in 2023 compared to 2022), Poland is still winning, maintaining the most favorable development dynamics in this part of Europe in the world (a drop of only 3%). New investments are needed in Poland not only because they create jobs (investors of the 229 investments announced in 2023 will need a total of 22,378 new employees), but also because they economically revitalize regions with development potential.
The TRILUX Group already has 6 production plants in Europe and Asia and supports international customers through 30 subsidiaries and numerous sales partners.
