
The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection has received an application regarding the establishment by the German companies frischli Milchwerke and H. & J. Brüggen KG of a joint venture called fBoat GmbH with its registered office in Rehburg-Loccum, Germany.

frischli belongs to a group of companies whose portfolio includes a wide range of products, from milk to desserts and cream sauces, especially for wholesale consumers and professional chefs, which meet the needs of this target group in terms of hygiene requirements and practical handling in commercial kitchens.
Brüggen, together with its subsidiaries ("Brüggen Group"), is engaged in the production and sale of breakfast cereals. In Poland, the Brüggen Group is active in the production and distribution of traditional flakes, muesli, cereal mill products, bars, etc.
Brüggen produces own brands for leading European and international retail chains.
The JV will engage in the joint production and marketing of oat base, oat drinks and oat protein flour.
The purpose of the JV will be to produce oat base and to obtain flour from oat protein fibres in connection with such production process and to market oat base, oat drinks and oat protein fibre flour.
