Further declines in weaner prices in Denmark

The downward trend continues on the Danish weaner market. This is the sixth week of discounts.

Weaner pigs with a negative PRRS status were again valued at DKK 570.00/piece, and pigs with a positive PRRS status this time at DKK 545.00/piece. The rates apply to weaners weighing 30 kg.

Compared to the prices from the same period last year (week 31), the current prices for weaners are DKK 160-175/piece lower. depending on health status. In turn, compared to last week, the current rates are lower by 15 DKK/piece, i.e. by approx. PLN 5.76.

Current rates for Danish weaners (25/07/2024)

The rate for weaners with negative PRRS status is DKK 570.00/piece, i.e. PLN 328.21/piece, compared to PLN 333.96/piece. last week.
The rate for weaners with a positive PRRS status is DKK 545.00/piece, i.e. PLN 313.81/piece, compared to PLN 319.57/piece. last week.
The rate for weaners with conventional status is DKK 520.00/piece, i.e. PLN 299.42/piece, compared to PLN 305.17/piece. last week.

These rates will be valid in Denmark for the next week.

Please note that the above rates include a bonus for the weaner producer and, in the case of import, also transport costs.
