The changes in the scope of the red zone are due to recent outbreaks of ASF in pigs confirmed in the Goleniów district (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) and Szamotuły district (Greater Poland Voivodeship). In the case of the first province, it concerns outbreak no. 2024/39 confirmed on August 20 in the Maszewo commune. The red zone in Greater Poland is associated with outbreak no. 2024/38 confirmed on August 16 in the Ostroróg commune.

According to the regulation, the following areas were included in the red zone:

- Maszewo commune
- part of the Goleniów commune located east of the line marked by roads S3 and S6
- part of the Osina commune located south of the railway line

- part of the rural commune of Stargard located north and west of the lines marked by road no. 20 connecting the towns of Gogolewo – Stargard and the borders of the city of Stargard in Stargard district
Additionally, the municipalities of Chociwel and Marianowo in Stargard district were included in the blue zone.

This is probably not the end of changes
Most likely, with the next regulation, we will have a further expansion of the zones. Outbreak no. 2024/42 was confirmed last Monday in the Stargard district, because it is located in close proximity to the border of the red zone.
