Last week, the price of diesel fuel in Riga dropped significantly, while the price of petrol remained the same as the week before. At the same time, fuel prices increased in Tallinn, while they remained stable in Vilnius, according to LETA data.
At the end of the working week, the highest petrol prices were in Riga, then in Tallinn and Vilnius. Diesel fuel at the end of the working week was the most expensive in Tallinn, then in Vilnius, and the cheapest in Riga.
In Tallinn, the price of 95-octane petrol at Circle K petrol stations on Friday was 1,669 euros per litre, which is 1.8% higher than the week before, while diesel fuel has increased in price by 6.8% over the week to 1,569 euros per litre.
In Riga, the price of 95-octane petrol at Circle K has not changed over the week and on Friday was 1.684 euros per litre, while the price of diesel fuel has decreased by 11.8% over the week and on Friday was 1.414 euros per litre.
In Vilnius, at Circle K petrol stations, prices for 95-octane petrol and diesel fuel have not changed during the week and on Friday were 1,489 euros and 1,439 euros per litre, respectively.
Autogas prices varied in the Baltic capitals last week. In Riga, a litre of autogas cost 0.765 euros, down 1.3% from the previous week. In Vilnius, the price of autogas rose by 1% on Friday to 0.719 euros per litre, while in Tallinn, the price of autogas remained stable throughout the week at 0.68 euros per litre.
