
Changes in regulations from 1 January 2025. What does this mean for farmers?
From 1 January 2025 year. agricultural tractors must be equipped with two-wire connection of the brake system, without the possibility of equipping it with hydraulic connection of the single-wire type. Everything is to keep compliant with European Regulation EU 2015/68 (which complemented document 167/2013/EC) on braking of agricultural machinery. If tractors can go 40 km/h, will they be able to

What is worth underlining the application of this Regulation does not act backwards, therefore does not apply to used vehicles, and new vehicles registered before January 1 2025 year.
Does this change something in our market? Not much. There is the possibility, that vehicles that lost their existing EU approvals (which expire in 2025 year.) have been registered with dealers in December, which will disturb statistics of year 2024.
Hitherto admissions EU have expired
The issue is not of major importance to many users. On some markets in tractors except two pneumatic pipes required since 2018 , there was until that time the possibility of ordering a single hydraulic cable, so that you could pipe the older equipment. This was the result of the delegated EU 2018/828 regulation, which “in the follows;to enable the lawful imposition of the hydraulic connection type to member states and industry” extended until 31 December 2024 year. “the application of transitional requirements for hydraulic connections of the single-wire type devices braking and braking couplings.” So this option is not available from 1 January 2025 year.

Tractor agricultural in city. Is driving tractor in the center allowed?
In effect according to TDT “manufacturers may not assemble hydraulic connections of the single-wire type in new tractors after 31 December 2024 .”
The changes have a purpose to improve safety on roads.
According to experts, braking in the two-wire system helps shorten the road braking, reducing this risk of collisions with
other vehicles, pedestrians or obstacles. Also enables the driver to better control the towed vehicle, especially in failure
situations or on slippery surfaces, preventing in this way of accidents.
