There have been several cases where Facebook users were offered to take part in a survey allegedly created by Maxima and receive Ariel washing capsules in exchange. This is a fraudulent activity aimed at obtaining personal data and financial resources, the merchant warns. Maxima Latvija does not participate in this fraudulent survey and asks that you do not provide your personal information, in particular financial information, under any circumstances. According to Liene Dupate-Ugule, Head of Communications at Maxima Latvija, the company has already contacted the Latvian Safe Internet Center and also plans to report these cases to CERT. Maxima once again reminds that promotions, lotteries and other special offers are announced only on the company's official websites, and links are provided to verified sources – www.maxima.lv or another source related to the store. If you have received a text message, email or pop-up message from Maxima, please check the veracity of the information on the www.maxima.lv portal or contact the company on social media, by email at [email protected] or by phone at 80002020.
