Entering a franchise is becoming the only way to survive in the market

“For many retailers, entering a franchise is becoming the only way to survive in the market. Also, many chain organizers will want to go out of business. And this will mean both organic growth and more acquisitions for us. So the anticipated increase in the number of stores in our chains is real. All the more so as we will already have four chains under our franchise, including SPAR. So the possibility for a retailer to choose the right franchise offer is extremely rich. And this is what we are counting on,” he notes.

In the company’s interview, Krzysztof Tokarz also refers to the future of the former 3,000 sqm administration building of the Piotr and Paweł chain. “We do not yet have a final concept for the use of this space, but we are analyzing various possibilities to make the best use of this potential,” he says. – he explains.

Specialty is developing hard franchising

One of the key elements of Specialty’s strategy is the Market Plus format, described by Tokarz as the company’s “hardest” franchise offering. The format was initially introduced in Specialty’s own stores to test its operation in practice. “We wanted to introduce interested franchisees to the specific possibilities and benefits of this format,” the CEO explains. Currently, Market Plus is very popular among retailers and is meeting the company’s expectations.

” (…) we currently have about 50 franchise outlets within this network, while a growing number of franchisees are expressing their readiness to participate in the network. I estimate that within a few years the number of retail outlets operating under the Market Plus banner may increase to as many as around 500 stores,” he admits. – admits the head of Specjał.

Specjał is optimistic about the future

GK Specjał, despite market difficulties, consistently implements its ambitious plans. The company focuses on a rich franchise offer, a well-thought-out strategy and cooperation with retailers, which allows it to strengthen its market position. As emphasized by Krzysztof Tokarz, Specjał looks to the future with optimism, believing in the success of its operations.

The Specjał Capital Group is a Polish franchise operator and owner of such chains as Nasz Sklep, Livio and Rabat Detal. The company is currently among the fastest-growing companies in the grocery retail sector in Poland. The company employs nearly 1.7 thousand people and generates profits of PLN 27.8 million.
