The investment creates new opportunities for economic development for the Lublin region and proves that Poland, despite the general economic slowdown in Europe, remains attractive to foreign investors.
Lublin Province invites foreign investors
According to the EY Investment Attractiveness of Europe report, despite the general decline in the number of new foreign investments in Europe (a 4% drop in 2023 compared to 2022), Poland is still winning by maintaining the most favorable development dynamics in this part of the world (a drop of only 3%). New investments are needed in Poland not only because they create jobs (investors of 229 investments announced in 2023 will need a total of 22,378 new employees), but also because they economically revive regions with development potential. And the Lublin province is definitely such a region.
New Trilux factory in Świdnik
It is here in Świdnik that TRILUX decided to locate its new factory. This is the first investment of this type in Central and Eastern Europe, which will allow the company not only to increase production and assembly capacity, but also to improve logistics in this part of Europe and develop new products. The construction process is running smoothly, which allowed the company to install and first test the production line.
– TRILUX sets the bar very high for quality, which is why from our point of view the first tests of the production line were extremely important. I am pleased to inform you that the luminaires manufactured in Świdnik have successfully passed the verification. The next step will be the official opening of the plant, which will become a key hub for the TRILUX Group in this part of Europe – says Arkadiusz Lewenko, General Manager Central & Eastern Europe TRILUX and TRILUX Polska.
The Trliux Group already has six production plants in Europe and Asia, where SMART lighting solutions are manufactured for office buildings, industrial, commercial, educational and healthcare facilities, as well as effect lighting that is used in architecture both inside and outside buildings.

250 workstations at the Trilux factory
Trilux has already recruited management staff and some production line workers for its plant in Świdnik. Recruitment for production-related positions is still ongoing. The factory will eventually employ 250 people, mainly in production, logistics and R&D.
