On Friday 10 January the authorities confirmed an outbreak of epidemic highly infectious in the state of water buffalo in the union country Brandenburg, in the north east of the country.

No other focus disease
Veterinary authorities have tested and taken samples from susceptible to disease animals in farms within a radius of 1 km from focus disease in Markisch-.Oderland.
Results of testing these samples at the state laboratory are already available. The Ministry of Agriculture Brandenburg informed, that the tested samples had
negative results. The authorities confirmed, that that means that that there is no any focus of
flu.
