A serious fire occurred on Friday late afternoon in a field in the village of Złotniki in the Prószków commune, Opole poviat. A combine harvester caught fire during grain harvesting. The fire quickly spread to the mown stubble – reports ratownictwo.opole.pl.
6 teams of firefighters from the State Fire Service Opole, the Volunteer Fire Department Złotniki, the Volunteer Fire Department Chrząszcyce, the Volunteer Fire Department Prószków and the Volunteer Fire Department Domecko were dispatched to extinguish the fire. Firefighters took control of the situation – they extinguished the field and the machine. Unfortunately, Bizon suffered greatly in the fire.
