The fast food chain Dymov Grill Dog has launched a franchise with the goal of increasing the number of outlets almost 17 times by the end of 2026, Kommersant reported.

General Director of Dymov Grill Dog Ekaterina Titova explained that the channel will become the main one when opening new outlets. Now the chain has six of its own corners in Moscow. But by the end of 2026 it is planned to open 70 franchise and at least 30 own establishments. Franchising for a network, according to her, is an opportunity to expand its geographic presence.

The turnover of the hot dog market, according to Romir, in Russia in 2023 amounted to 200 billion rubles, and this year it could grow to 220 billion rubles. At the same time, according to Rosstat, in January-May 2024, the turnover of the catering market increased by 15% year-on-year, to 1.28 trillion rubles. The head of Check Index, Leonid Simakov, says that in June the number of purchases in establishments with hot dogs increased by 9% year-on-year, the average check increased by 10%, to 191 rubles. This is better than the dynamics of fast food in general: here the figures in June increased by 7% and 9% (to 461 rubles), respectively.

The Dymov Grill Dog chain has been developed by Vadim Dymov's Dymov Group since 2014. The group was founded in 2001 and is considered one of the largest producers of meat products. It includes enterprises in Moscow, the Moscow region and Krasnoyarsk, livestock complexes in the Vladimir and Ivanovo regions, Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar territories.
