The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) issued an order to the manufacturer and distributor of cosmetics and household chemicals "Arvitex" with the requirement to stop selling men's deodorants and shower gels under the name Exxe. Service specialists emphasized that the packaging of this product copies the design of products from the famous Ax brand.

The FAS has identified signs of unfair competition in the actions of the manufacturer of deodorants and shower gels, Arvitex LLC. Earlier, the copyright holder of the Ax brand contacted the Federal Antimonopoly Service (since 2008, Ax products have been manufactured on the territory of the Russian Federation).
The company reported that its competitor had introduced Exxe men's deodorants and shower gels, the packaging design of which imitated the design of the applicant's products. The similarities were in the color scheme, identical arrangement and style of elements, as well as key symbols.
According to the department, such actions may create a false impression among consumers about the manufacturer of the product and contribute to the misuse of the Ax brand reputation. The FAS Russia Commission recognized the actions of Arvitex LLC as unfair competition (clause 2 of Article 14.6 of the Federal Law “On the Protection of Competition” dated July 26, 2006 No. 135-FZ). The service issued an order to the company to stop introducing Exxe men's deodorants and shower gels in such packaging. The company is obliged to fulfill it within 10 days from the date of receipt and submit a report to the service.
