A tragic accident occurred last Sunday on a farm in Gössl, in the Liezen district, in the Austrian province of Styria. The 48-year-old farmer went to the meadow to mow grass for the animals. He slipped on the wet grass on a hill and fell so badly that he impaled himself on his scythe.
The farmer was found by a neighbor, who called the emergency services and immediately provided first aid. Unfortunately, it was too late to save the farmer. The man died at the scene from his injuries.
