The President of the Office for Personal Data Protection emphasized that advertisements that reproduce such drastic information as those about her beating, arrest or even death may have severe consequences on the life and mental health of Omena and other people. He therefore concluded that this situation requires urgent measures and actions.
– Meta still takes money for ads that reproduce fake news and deepfakes. Today we have shown that we can effectively combat this problem, and large platforms can be responsible for the ads they accept for display on their websites. For violating the ban, the owner of Facebook and Instagram may be fined up to 4% of global revenue – comments Rafał Brzoska, president of InPost.
It reminds that the revenue of the owner of Facebook and Instagram in the first quarter of 2024 was over USD 36.5 billion.
