According to the Express Estimate of the Consumer Price Index Department of Statistics released Tuesday, in December prices increased on a yearly comparison by 4.08 percent.
“The annual increase in prices can be considered as the December increase in compared with the previous December or January as compared with January. This is slightly higher than the suggested in the Bank of Estonia’s 3.6 percent forecast. The four percent increase in prices is caused by the increase in the NSO and the pricing of living in thepreviousyear,whichcausedanominalincreaseinwagesofabout8percent,” SaidEamets.
