Designer Outlet Gdańsk will expand by 2,000. sq m
The wing under construction is already roofed. A reinforced roof structure with high load-bearing capacity has been installed, ready for the future installation of solar panels.
– Most of the construction work now takes place inside the building. Currently, partition walls and shop windows are being built – says Izabela Jaworska-Piątkowska, Facility Manager Designer Outlet Gdańsk, ROS Retail Outlet Shopping. – We are on the eve of handing over the premises to new tenants for internal finishing works – he adds.
After separating the premises, the next stage of work will be the finishing of the restaurant area. Natural wood will appear on the walls and ceilings.
In the area adjacent to the building, at each of its entrances, bicycle shelters with a roof will be built. There are also designated stands for electric vehicles in the parking lot, whose owners will be able to use EV chargers while shopping.
All works related to planting new greenery will be completed in the fall.
The building will feature CO2 sensors monitoring the carbon dioxide concentration within the facility, and paths will be marked for the visually impaired and blind, which were developed in cooperation with the Integracja Foundation.
