An important fact is that every fifth person deliberately tries to remove or minimize the amount of fast food in their diet. Thus, giving preference to healthy foods. And more than a quarter (27%) do not consider eating such food a problem.
Russians' favorite unhealthy snacks look like this: in first place are chips and crackers, in second are chocolate bars, in third are cookies, followed by chewing marmalade and popcorn. And the most popular unhealthy dishes were pizza, followed by burger, shawarma, French fries, chicken, breaded meat or fish (nuggets).
At the same time, half of respondents (53%) claim that fast food makes up only a tenth of their diet. And a third of respondents (35%) estimate the volume of fast food as a quarter of the entire diet. The same dynamics can be seen in the share of the budget for food, which is allocated specifically to junk food.
