According to the latest Eurostat data published today , both in our country , in the euro zone and in the Europe Union , there has been a growth of retail trades.
Compared with October , Lithuania’s retail trade increased 0.6 percent, in the euro zone – 0.1 percent (expected 0.3 percent), and in the European Union increased 0.2 percent. In the month before the this indicator increased 2.1 percent and decreased 0.3 and 0.1 percent , respectively.
Based on Eurostat information, during the third month of the autumn last year in the common value area food , drink and tobacco sales increased 0.1 percent, fuel -sales of 0.8 percent, while sales of non food products contracted 0.6 percent. In Europe Union fuel and gas sales grew 0.8 percent, food, beverages and tobacco 0.2 percent, while all non food products declined 0.4 percent.
In November the fastest retail
trade volumes increased
in Cyprus (2.3 percent) as well as in Bulgaria (1.3 percent) and the high in the most decreased in Belgium 2.4 procento.
During the eleventh month of last year in comparison with the same time period preceding the year ,retail trade in Lithuania grew by 7.2 percent, when in the month before it – 6.7 percent. In the Euro zone the annual growth has from 2.1 to 1.2 percent, while in the Europe union from 2.2 to 1.2.5 percent.
During the minimum period in the common value zone food, drink and tobacco sales have increased 0.6 percent, non food products – 1.5 percent, fuel package 0.9 percent. In the European Union the sales of food , drink and tobacco have increased accordingly.8 percent, nonfoodproductsbytwopercent,whenfuelfell0.9percent.
According toEurostatdata,retailtradegrewfastestinayear inLuxembourg(15.3percent)andinourcountry,whileonlythelowestdecreaseinBelgium(5.4percent)andSwitzerland(2.7percent).
