The Management Board of the listed company Eurocash announced that on August 21, 2024, the Supervisory Board adopted a resolution on the payment of dividend for 2023 (in the amount of PLN 100,197,565.92) on November 22, 2024.
– The longer period than in previous years between the date of establishing the right to dividend (dividend date – set for August 23, 2024) and the dividend payment date (dividend payment date) in Eurocash SA is related to the use of the seasonality of Eurocash SA's operations, which are characterized by higher cash flows in the 3rd quarter of the year, in order to optimize the level of financial debt and related financial costs – the company explains.
Let us recall that for 2022, Eurocash paid a dividend of PLN 50 million, which amounted to PLN 0.36 per share.
For 2020, almost PLN 66.8 million was allocated for dividends, or PLN 0.48 per share, while for 2018 the company paid PLN 139.2 million in dividends, or PLN 1 per share.
Eurocash Group's net profit in 2023 amounted to PLN 145 million and was 62 percent higher than a year earlier. Sales revenues increased by 5.2 percent, reaching PLN 32.5 billion. The Group generated PLN 1,065.5 billion in EBITDA, i.e. operating profit plus depreciation and amortization.
