According to the Department of Statistics, in June 2024, compared to the same period last year, exports of goods decreased by 14%, imports by 11%. Goods were exported at current prices for about 1.4 billion euros and imported for about 1.6 billion euros. The trade deficit amounted to 268 million euros, which is 20 million more than a year earlier.
