In June, unemployment in the eurozone remained unchanged year-on-year, remaining at 6.4%. In Estonia, the unemployment rate increased from 7.1% to 7.4%, writes Rus.ERR with reference to data from the statistical service of the European Union.
The leader of the eurozone countries in terms of unemployment in June was Spain (11.5%). This was followed by Greece (9.6%) and Finland (8.4%). The lowest unemployment rates were in Malta and Slovenia – 3.1% each. In the EU, the country with the lowest unemployment rate in June was the Czech Republic – 2.7%.
