The Epicenter K group of companies attracted UAH 400 million in financing from PrivatBank for network development and the purchase of energy generating equipment.
As reported by Delo.ua with reference to the press service of PrivatBank, the Epicenter K group of companies and PrivatBank signed a loan agreement for UAH 400 million. The bank's financing will be used to expand the company's network of construction hypermarkets in Ukraine and purchase energy-generating equipment. Epicenter K has a long history of successful partnership with PrivatBank, which has lasted for 18 years under loan agreements and in the field of retail lending to the network.
The investment plan of the Epicenter K group of companies provides for the development and construction of projects in the retail, manufacturing, agricultural, logistics, e-commerce and energy sectors until 2030 for a total of about UAH 100 billion.
"This agreement is another step in implementing our strategic vision for the company's development. Cooperation with PrivatBank allows us to further strengthen our positions and implement ambitious projects that will become an important contribution to the future of Ukraine and ensuring its energy independence," emphasized Epicenter K Group CEO Petro Mykhaylyshyn .
As noted by the head of PrivatBank's corporate business department, Evgeny Kulikov , the agreement with Epicenter K is an important element in the development of strategic partnership and further expansion of cooperation on new projects.
Reference. The Epicenter shopping center chain is one of the leaders of the Ukrainian retail market and the undisputed No. 1 in the segment of household and construction goods. As of August 2024, the retailer's network united 70 operating shopping centers in different regions of the country. According to the company's financial statements, its turnover in 2023 amounted to more than UAH 71.6 billion.
