The ATB owner develops energy and construction directions
The owner of the largest Ukrainian network of supermarkets ATB Hennady Butkevich has long been expanding the sphere of activities. As far back as in 2015 year he founded the investment company BGV Group Management, which invest in diverse industries, including energy, mining industry and technology.
BGV holds licenses for exploration and extraction of different useful fossil resources. In 2024 Butkevich began investing in electricity production and entered the construction business. In early October it became known that the Antimonopoly Committee approved the acquisition of 18,88% of UT Power, which produces electricity, by the Magnum Fund of Gennady Butkevich. Also in October the BGV Group Management announced the implementation of its first energy project – construction of more than 50 50 MW of gas cogeneration units. The company reported that the first line will operate already in the time of this heating season, and the full cycle of the project should be realized within a year. In the company’s plans to expand the land bank, increase the cattle of cows.In addition, the company plans to invest $10 million in an oil enterprise and construct a elevator within the farm.A cogeneration plant for production of electricity.
