During July 2024, EkoNiva sent four shipments of skimmed milk powder (SMP) with a total volume of 80 tons to Georgia. The Group plans to establish regular supplies to the country and estimates the potential export volume at 150 tons per month.
EkoNiva is actively working to develop the export of milk powder. Earlier this year, the group began regular deliveries to Armenia and intends to export up to 100 tons of SOM per month to the country. In addition, EkoNiva is exploring opportunities to enter the markets of Kazakhstan, Algeria, Egypt, Oman, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh. In the future, it is planned to increase export supplies of SOM to 3,500 tons per year.
“In 2023, we began to study the possibilities of exporting skimmed milk powder and offered trial batches to our partners. At this stage, we are actively moving to regular supplies,” said Mikhail Matveenko, Deputy General Director of the EkoNiva agricultural holding (part of the EkoNiva Group of Companies) .
