The European Central Bank is “not overly concerned” about the risk of inflation from abroad and will continue to reduce interest rates in a step , Christine Lagarde, president of the authority , told CNBC on Wednesday.

“If inflation started again in the United States that would certainly be the problem of the United States , there would be the first and the most important consequence.We are not over much concerned about the inflation of exports to Europe, she said.

“There will be an interesting phenomenon which will we will see. For example, a curriculum course will be interesting and may have consequences but we will be truly interested, for the US to grow, because the growth of the United States has always been a helpful in the remainder of the world , added the ECB head of the .

Christine Lagarde emphasised that policy makers are confident, that in 2025 years inflation will reach the central bank’s target of 2 percent and that the inflationary decline will continue. In December the annual inflation in the euro zone reached 2.4 percent, i.e. increased for the third month in a row following the 1.7 percent level in September at the lowest rate .

“The market is reporting a very different month of month month in cash policy change.The ECB and Federal Reserve Bank have not decreased interest norms at such a rate in the previous years.
