The data analyzed and aggregated in the BaseLinker Index shows that in June 2024 (year-on-year) the companies included in the index increased the level of sales by 12.6%, increasing the number of transactions made in this period by 10.9%. . The average value of their basket increased by 1.5%. (y/y) and amounted to PLN 196.1.

– Polish e-commerce showed high annual sales growth dynamics, which amounted to as much as 12.6%. It is still too early to talk about permanent acceleration, but it is worth emphasizing that this increase was greater than a year ago, when sales between June 2023 and June 2022 increased by 10.3%. – says Łukasz Juśkiewicz, Head of Strategy at BaseLinker. – In terms of m/m in June we observed declines, but it should be remembered that June is traditionally a weaker month than May because it is shorter. Moreover, this year June had an exceptionally large number of weekend days, which are weaker for online trading.
