The Riga Regional Court has declared legal protection proceedings against the restaurant manager SIA Lauris Restaurant Service and approved the action plan, according to information from the Insolvency Register. Half of the shares of SIA Lauris Restaurant Service are owned by SIA Apetite36, which in turn manages the popular Jurmala restaurant 36. līnija. SIA Lauris Restaurant Service has been given three years and five months, or 41 months, to comply with the requirements of the law. In order to satisfy the creditors' claims, the action plan for the legal protection procedure provides for an extension of the principal debt repayment period to 41 months, 100% repayment of penalties in accordance with contracts and regulations, as well as the sale of the company's movable property – the mobile restaurant building. The decision was made in the Riga Regional Court on 19 August 2024. According to the State Revenue Service (VID), as of 26 August this year, Lauris Restaurant Service has a tax debt of 542,552 euros, including 527,984 euros in legal protection proceedings. The turnover of SIA Lauris Restaurant Service last year was 1.374 million euros, which is 50.9% more than in 2022, but the company's losses increased tenfold and amounted to 417,668 euros. The annual report states that, given the increase in turnover, the company's management is confident in the success of the company's recovery plan, which provides for a return to 2020 figures within two to three years. In addition, last year the company launched a new service, which gives confidence that the company will be able to survive and retain employees and suppliers. Last year's losses are planned to be covered by selling the seasonal building. According to expert estimates, its market value is 457,000 euros. The company was registered in November 2007, and its share capital is 56,896 euros. According to Firmas.lv, 50% of Lauris Restaurant Service shares belong to SIA Apetite36, 29.97% to Alekseyev and 20.03% to Jānis Kārkliņš. At the same time, 80% of Apetite36 capital belongs to Alekseyev and 20% to Kārkliņš.
