DSV rozszerza usługi w LCube Rzeszów Airport

What is LCube Rzeszów Airport

LCube Rzeszów Airport is an industrial and warehouse park, the construction of which began in 2021. On a plot of 5.5 ha, 25.8 thousand square meters of modern class A warehouse space were created. 2.5 thousand square meters of warehouse space and 360 square meters for offices were made available to DSV.

Rzeszów is an interesting warehouse market that still needs modern space, including for logistics and manufacturing companies. Cooperation with DSV, which is intensively expanding its warehouse base in Poland, is a very important element in the development of our entire organization, as well as the development of the Rzeszów project – said Adrian Biesaga, member of the LCube board.

The space in LCube Rzeszów Airport, a modern facility located near the airport in Jasionka, is an interesting addition to the warehouse resources of DSV, which recently announced a 5-year investment program with a total value of over PLN 1 billion. The program aims to strengthen Poland's position in European and global supply chains and support the green transformation in the TSL industry. The program includes development based on the implementation of both its own warehouse projects and activity on the warehouse space rental market with a high standard of pro-ecological solutions.

DSV investment with Ukraine in mind

Strengthening our presence in south-eastern Poland is a priority for DSV. We respond to the growing needs of business and want to play a role in the further development of the region, thanks to its even stronger integration with our network of domestic and European logistics connections. – said Łukasz Sujka, Branch Manager, DSV Road in Poland – We are also preparing our investment with the role that Rzeszów and the entire Podkarpacie region will be able to play in the process of rebuilding Ukraine. The know-how and international experience of our experts will be available to local companies.

The warehouse where DSV will rent its space has been awarded a BREEAM certificate at the very good level. The entire facility has been equipped with LED lighting and a failure detection system in the sewage system with the option of automatic water shut-off. The park has prepared insect boxes, bicycle shelters and charging stations for electric cars. In turn, the roof has been equipped with a deflection monitoring system and additionally reinforced, which allows for the installation of a photovoltaic installation.

So far, lease agreements at LCube Rzeszów Airport have been signed by the distributor of frozen products – Grupa Specjał , for which cold stores and freezers have been prepared, as well as the online drugstore Cocolita and the e-commerce company Kartony24 , which supplies packaging dedicated to, among others, e-commerce.

LCube is implementing a strategy of building a diversified portfolio, which will consist of smaller facilities (around 10,000 sqm), medium-sized warehouses (50,000 sqm) and traditional big boxes in logistics parks (over 100,000 sqm). In addition to effectively acquiring new projects, the developer wants the company's trademark actions to be focusing on the needs of tenants and implementing a sustainable development strategy.
