The incident was reported in the municipality Rajgród, in Grajew county in Podlasie. The reporting resident informed police, that he had arrested the perpetrator, who had stealed the tractor from the garage. The owner took off in chase by auto and took the thief away.
“After the police arrived at the site it turned out that the amateur of the vehicle was intoxicated. An alcohol test demonstrated, that the 28-year-old had over 2 promoles of alcohol in his organ. Additionally the man has a lifetime judicial ban for driving all vehicles” – states in communication the Command Police in Grajewo.
The man has been arrested, and the district prosecutor has charged him with “short-term use of vehicle of significant value.” a
also driving a vehicle in the state of intoxication and breaking the judicial prohibition. The offender is threatened now with a
punishment of up to 8 years of imprisonment.
