The study "What do Poles think about the use of drones? Report 2024" also covered sectors such as transport, rescue and war operations. It also checked how much Poles would be willing to spend on an unmanned aerial vehicle for entertainment purposes.
In terms of agriculture, despite some concerns and differences in the assessment of their effectiveness, most Poles believe that these modern technologies are crucial to the future of agriculture. Trust in drones is particularly strong among younger generations and men, which indicates potential directions for the development of this market in the coming years.
Poles believe in the potential of drones in agriculture
Drones have revolutionized the agricultural sector, and Poles see their enormous potential in this field. According to the MegaDron report, as many as 92 percent of Poles believe that investing in drones can significantly contribute to the development of agriculture.
Unmanned aerial vehicles are used for many tasks, such as spraying, fertilizing, spreading seeds and monitoring crop conditions. These modern technologies allow for increased efficiency of agricultural work, which is especially important in the face of global challenges related to the growing demand for food.

Young Poles are the most open to drone technologies
Research shows that the youngest generation of adult Poles is the most enthusiastic about drone technology in agriculture. Among people aged 18-29, as many as 95.6% see the point of using them in this sector. People aged 30-39 (95%) and 50-59 (93.1%) have a similar opinion. Interestingly, people in their 40s are more reserved about this technology, with 11.6% of them not believing in its effectiveness. However, people over 60 remain the most skeptical – as many as 13.1% of respondents in this age group rely on traditional methods of spraying, sowing and fertilizing.
Men are more convinced about drones in agriculture
Differences in the perception of drone technology in agriculture can also be seen by gender. Studies show that men are more likely than women to believe in the benefits of using drones in agriculture. As many as 93% of men believe that drones can significantly impact the development of this sector, while 78% of women share this view. 7% of men and 22% of women have the opposite opinion, which may be due to differences in access to information or greater caution in assessing new technologies by women.
