The foreign real estate section, launched a few days ago, has already been visited more than 10,000 times. It contains offers from 11 countries. “In recent months, we have been contacted by many Estonian residents and local businesses who own property abroad and would like to sell or rent it to their compatriots. In addition, the interest of Estonians in foreign real estate offers has also increased,” explained the creation of the new advertisement section, the executive director of Kinnisvara24, Urmas Uibomäe. Until now, people had to search for and disseminate information about the sale and rental of foreign real estate in social networking groups and on foreign portals, which Estonians rarely visit. The goal of Kinnisvara24 is not to massively post advertisements from foreign portals on its website. “Our new foreign real estate section is an environment where Estonian residents can buy, sell or rent real estate abroad. We offer the opportunity to communicate directly with a compatriot who owns real estate, whose reputation can be verified, who knows the peculiarities of the market and the legislation of the country where the property is located, and with whom it is easier to conclude a transaction in his native language,” explained Uibomäe. According to him, the new section of the site also provides Estonian brokers living abroad with an excellent opportunity to offer their properties to residents of the country. Uibomäe noted that the new section of the site was received very positively. At the moment, there are most offers from Cyprus and Dubai, but such exotic countries as the Dominican Republic and the United Arab Emirates are also represented. “It’s very interesting to see how many different parts of the world Estonians are involved in real estate,” said the head of the portal. If we talk about the offers presented on the portal now, the most affordable real estate is in Georgia, where prices for apartments in new buildings start from 38,500 euros. At the same time, the portal also has a 7-room villa in Dubai worth more than 3.8 million euros. However, in Dubai you can buy an apartment in a new building for 150,000 euros. According to Uibomäe, Kinnisvara24 aims to offer a safe and convenient online environment where one can get a good understanding of foreign real estate. In order to ensure the reliability of the offers on the portal, both businesses and individuals must create an account to post advertisements, the details of which can be verified to prevent fraud. As an additional security guarantee, the portal plans to introduce an authentication requirement in the near future. In the foreign real estate section, advertisements for the sale, rental and short-term rental of houses, apartments, commercial premises or summer cottages are welcome. Placing advertisements for foreign real estate on the Kinnisvara24 portal is free for both individuals and businesses.
