Dino spent PLN 696 million on store openings and new warehouses

In the first half of the year, the Dino chain launched 98 new stores. At the end of June 2024, there were 2,504 stores with the distinctive red Dino logo in Poland.

At the end of June 2024, the total sales area of Dino stores amounted to 987.4 thousand square meters and was 10.4% larger than a year earlier.

40.3% of Dino's revenue came from the sale of fresh products

Sales revenues in H1 2024 amounted to PLN 13.9 billion and were 15.1% higher than a year earlier. 40.3% of revenues came from the sale of fresh products, in particular fruit and vegetables, bread and fresh meat produced by the Agro-Rydzyna meat plant. Fresh products are delivered to Dino stores every morning.

The sales dynamics in stores that have been in operation for at least a year (like-for-like; LfL) reached 6.4% in the first half of 2024 and resulted both from the increase in the number of customers in Dino stores and from the increase in the number of products purchased during individual purchases.

– Every day we focus on ensuring that the Dino stores offer meets the needs of consumers in a convenient and comprehensive way. At the same time, we pay a lot of attention to offering products at attractive prices. The effect of these activities is a solid increase in sales and a growing number of customer visits. This is a motivation for us to continue the dynamic development of the network – says Michał Krauze, Member of the Management Board of Dino Polska.

Dino Polska obtained 45.1 GWh of solar energy in H1 2024

The standard equipment of newly opened Dino stores are photovoltaic installations, which provide the company with clean electricity. At the end of June 2024, 2,289 stores had them, which constituted 91% of the entire Dino network. Own renewable energy installations also operate in three of the Group's distribution centers. The total capacity of RES installations belonging to the Dino Group amounted to 91.8 MW. Dino Polska obtained 45.1 GWh of energy from the sun in H1 2024, 33.8% more than in the same period of 2024.
