The subsidy is addressed to farmers who, among others:
- meet the definition of a micro, small or medium-sized enterprise;
- they have a farm with an area of no more than 300 ha, the economic size of which in the initial year does not exceed 25,000. euro;
- they deal with organic production or organic production and preparation for sale of manufactured products or start activities in the field of introducing food to the market within a short supply chain (KŁD);
- they obtained income from the sale of agricultural products produced on the farm in the amount of not less than PLN 5,000. zloty;
- they do not operate solely for scientific and research purposes.
What can the support be spent on?
The aid is granted in the form of a lump sum payment of PLN 120,000. zloty. These funds can be used, for example, for construction investments or the purchase of necessary equipment, machines, devices and appliances.

Development of small farms: how much do you have to spend and is it worth switching to VAT?
It is important that as a result of the implementation of the planned projects, the gross sales value of agricultural products increases by at least 30%. in relation to the value of base income established for the farm and not less than to the level corresponding to the equivalent of the minimum wage in 2024.
The recruitment will last until August 22, 2024. Applications for aid are accepted only via the IT system – through the ARiMR Electronic Services Platform (PUE).

What about applications from the previous recruitment?
We asked ARiMR about the status of last year's call for applications for support related to the Development of Small Farms.
– As part of last year's recruitment for the Development of small farms from the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy 2023-2027, 10,949 applications for aid were ultimately received – informs the Agency.
ARiMR further states that by July 21, 2024:
- 1,510 contracts were concluded;
- 6,516 applications are under consideration;
- 478 contracts are ready to be concluded;
- 22 contracts were not accepted by the applicants;
- 1,470 applications were withdrawn by applicants;
- 952 applications were rejected.
