The information is confirmed by the protocols of the bankruptcy auction: their winner was Loman 2 LLC, controlled, according to SPARK-Interfax, by APK Damate LLC. The amount of the two transactions amounted to 2.5 billion rubles. Their perimeter included the assets of Eurodon LLC and Eurodon-Yug LLC, including a vertically integrated complex for the industrial production of turkey meat and equipment.
Eurodon was previously the second largest turkey producer in Russia. According to Agrifood Strategies estimates, in 2017 the holding produced 47.25 thousand tons of products, occupying 20.68% of the market. But at the end of 2018, as a result of a corporate conflict with founder Vadim Vaneev, the asset came under the control of the main owner and creditor of VEB.RF. In 2019, the holding was declared bankrupt.
In 2021, Damate acquired from Rosselkhozbank, to which it had previously sold the debt of Eurodon VEB.RF, Loman 2 LLC with rights of claim to the company. The Damate Group is an agricultural holding that has existed since 2012. The main owner of the business is Naum Babaev. The company is considered the largest turkey producer in Russia, its existing capacity is 292 thousand tons of slaughter weight per year. Since 2020, Eurodon's facilities have been leased from Damate, and the group has been producing turkey under the Indilight brand. Now, according to company estimates, enterprises can produce 85 thousand tons per year.
