Telia TV service was disrupted on Thursday evening, but many customers were not notified of the outage. What caused it?

Telia reported on social media on Thursday evening that the use of the Telia TV service was disrupted on both Android and Arris digiboxes. Unfortunately, this information did not reach many customers, who, unaware of the problem, repeatedly rebooted their devices.

"We responded quickly to the incident and fixed the problem by 19:20. After that, we immediately began to investigate the causes. The failure affected Telia TV users using Arris digiboxes and the Android system. However, access to the service via the website ( www.teliatv.ee ) and in the Telia TV app remained functional," Telia spokesperson Helen Hendrikson explained the situation.
