The Eclair Factory cafe, which delighted residents and guests of Tallinn with eclairs with various fillings and other desserts, announced on its Facebook page that it is closing.
“For two years we have been offering you the best eclairs that we know how to cook, and received a lot of positive feedback from you – thank you! Unfortunately, we have to report that the extremely difficult economic situation has not passed us by, and today our cafe is open for the last day,” Eclair Factory wrote on social networks at the beginning of summer.
Eclair Factory had two locations in Tallinn: at Roosikrantsi 14 and on the ground floor of the Baltic Station market. Thanks to their design, these cafes were considered Instagrammable – every trip there became an occasion for a photo shoot.
“Traffic in the center of Tallinn has been paralyzed for two years now, people are trying to avoid the center, the same applies to Põhja-Tallinn and the Baltic Station area,” Delfi Ärileht quotes Meelis Maalmann, owner of the Gateau share partnership, which organized the Eclair Factory cafe.
