The Ministry of Development and Technology is working on a project law, which plans to shorten the maximum time for control of microentrepreneurs to 6 days in a calendar year.
Michael Jaros, Secretary of State, informs in response to the Parliament’s interpretation, that the project of a law to amend some laws for the purpose of regulating economic and administrative laws and improving principles of developing economic laws (UA8) provides amendments to the law of the day 6 March 2018 year. – Law of entrepreneurs. One of the key assumptions is to reduce the time for micro-entrepreneurs from the present 12 days to a maximum 6 days per year.
The project does not impose additional administrative obligations on micro-entrepreneurs. It has already been positively considered by the Committee of the Council of Ministers for digitization in September 2024 , a then recommended to the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers.
Recommendations of National Administration of Treasury
The Deputy Chief of National Administration of Treasury issued 22 February 2024 year a recommendation to all directors of izb administration of Treasury. According to this recommendation tax inspections on micro-entrepreneurs should not take longer than 6 days in a calendar year, including it in the limit time of control.
The purpose of the recommendation is to ensure that the activities taken by heads of tariff offices will be proportional and in the least degree burdened entrepreneurs, enabling they to focus on conducting business activities.
Shorter controls on Micro-entrepreneurs
The introduction of shorter time for controls on micro-entrepreneurs is an element of measures to simplify andderegulatethelawofeconomicactivityinPoland.Thischange,supportedby boththeMinistryofDevelopmentandTechnology,asandtheMinistryofFinance,hasthepurposeofcreatingamorefriendlyenvironmentforthesmallestentrepreneurs,whowillbelessburdenedwithadministrative formalities.
