According to the Institute of Market Studies, consumer confidence in Estonia fell by one point over the month in June to -28, a year ago the figure was -30 points.
The assessment of the state's economic situation for the next 12 months in a monthly comparison also fell by one point to -42 points, a year ago it was -48 points.
Consumers' assessment of the family's economic situation for the next 12 months in June fell over the month from -19 to -22 points, in June 2023 it was -22 points.
The assessment of the probability of saving in the next 12 months in June fell by 2 points over the month to -17 points; a year ago it was also -17 points.
The Estonian Institute of Market Research publishes market barometer data every month, reflecting the difference in percentages of positive and negative responses to a survey. The Sense of Confidence indicator is a synthesis indicator of the barometer used by the European Commission.
The methodology for calculating consumer confidence changed in May 2022. The sample size is 1000 people and the survey is conducted in the form of an online survey.
