This fall, the Tartu IKEA store will move to a new building next door, which already houses the Masku furniture store. Last fall, IKEA announced that by the fall of 2024 it will move to another building in Tartu's Lõunakeskus shopping park. “All services offered in Estonia, such as measuring, assembly and installation of furniture, are available in Tartu. Doubling the space allows us to offer our visitors a better experience: more inspiration, more comfort, faster availability of products,” explained IKEA Baltic Sales Director Inga Filipova at the time. The head of Lõunakeskus, Marju Yeedas, said that the new IKEA location is justified in all respects, as it is very accessible and convenient for residents of Southern Estonia.
Competitors are coming: IKEA and Masku stores will be located under one roof
