The situation on German fields
Although the winter barley harvest has largely been completed, only about one-third of the wheat, rye and triticale areas have been threshed. About half of the rapeseed has still not been harvested
Harvest forecast
There are signs of harvest performance in these areas being slightly below average. DBV currently assumes a total grain harvest of approximately 41 million tonnes. More stable and, above all, dry weather conditions are urgently needed for the next few weeks. Data available so far still indicate slightly lower than average rapeseed yields.
