Fast delivery from Wolt is a new option in the Carrefour e-store
Carrefour's cooperation with Wolt, established in March this year, aims to develop the chain's online sales while meeting the growing customer demand for flexible and fast delivery options.
From July this year When making small, everyday purchases on carrefour.pl, Carrefour customers will be offered fast delivery via Wolt for orders that meet the criteria. If the completed basket in the online store meets the partner's size and weight requirements, the customer will be informed about the possibility of delivering purchases via Wolt – faster and at a preferential price.
The development of this partnership aims to speed up the delivery time of orders, especially in the case of essential purchases that fit into a courier's carry bag. This service is now available in all cities served by Wolt in Poland. There are also plans to expand it to additional locations.
– E-commerce is constantly developing and in recent years we have seen increased interest in the possibility of making quick purchases via the Internet. It is clearly visible that such "ad hoc" purchases are as popular as large purchases made for the whole week for the whole family. Thanks to cooperation with Wolt, our customers can order their favorite products from the Carrefour offer and have them delivered to their door within a few hours. This possibility is also very important to us in terms of fleet optimization. Instead of transporting smaller orders in large cars, from now on we can fulfill them by bicycles or scooters – says Marek Garus, e-commerce director at Carrefour Polska.

The partnership with Wolt will allow Carrefour to better respond to these needs, providing customers with the convenience and availability of shopping "right now", with express delivery to the door.
